Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W. This will be my last WWW Wednesday meme of April, the next will probably be the second week of May. There is no point of me doing these memes when I also have Wrap-up blog and TBR blogs to post.
The three W’s are
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll be reading next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading two books at the moment;
- Coraline by Neil Gaiman
- The Body In The Library by Agatha Christi
I have to say Coraline is weird, but I love Neil Gaiman’s weird writing anyway. Also, The Body In The Library is my first Agatha Christi book.
What did you recently finish reading?
I recently finished Hunger by Knut Hamsun. Finally!!!
It did not have the ending I expected, but I liked it.
What do you think you’ll be reading next?
Well, I did the Try A Chapter Tag earlier this week and tested out five books in hopes that I could unhaul them. It failed massively, so I will probably be reading one of those:
I also have a lot of ARC’s waiting that I requested on NetGalley. They are an option too. Why did I do that tag when I knew I already had a lot to read?!
Question, do you use the image of the actual cover of the book you have when you display it on your blog or do you pick the best one? I’ve been thinking about this. On Goodreads, I always record the cover and edition I’m reading. I would dream of doing it otherwise! On my blog, I use the actual cover I see on my books. However, I am tempted to chose the better one occasionally as I’m shallow and would like my posts to look nice. Its only for ebooks though. you never really see the cover of ebooks and sometimes there isn’t a cover. It is also a bit of a dream scenario to chose the better cover, just to imagine what my bookshelf could look like if I had the version with the better cover. Thoughts?
Until next time 😁
