Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.
The three W’s are
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll be reading next?
What are you currently reading?
Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman (audiobook)
The Poppy War by R F Kuang (review to come 😊)
What did you recently finish reading?
Bones and Bourbon by Dorian Graves. Very funny and entertaining read. Full review can be found here 😁
What do you think you’ll be reading next?
I’ll be jumping on to Mirage by Somaiya Daud when I finish The Poppy War. Also, I still waiting for my Immumicrate Starfall box which includes A Court of Frost And Starlight by Sarah J Maas. So the moment I have that in my hands, it’s being read!
What are you currently reading? Do you like it?
Until next week 😁
I’ve been meaning to check out Norse Mythology for a while since I keep seeing it everywhere. Would you recommend it?

Yes! I have mine on audiobook which is narrated by Neil Gaiman himself. So if you like he voice, get the audiobook. I’m really enjoying it 😁

I might try the audiobook then instead of the paperback. I’ve never listened to an audiobook before but it might be worth it if it’s better 🙂

I think audiobooks are a personal like/dislike thing. I love them. But I have friends who don’t and prefer to read. But this book is divided into short stories so it could be a good first audiobook for you. You probably could get a free audible trial with one book as well. Also my library has eaudiobooks so maybe yours have too. Worth checking maybe. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think 😊

I will. 🙂 I’ll go to the library later. My TBR list can wait

I get what you mean about audiobooks being a personal preference. I’ve never used them, but I’ve started coming round to ebooks so I might be converted at some point:)

You never know until you try! You could even do a blog post about it: “my first audiobook”. I would definitely read that 😁

That’s a great idea, actually. I never thought of that 🙂

What do you think about norse mythology so far? I’ve had my eyes on that while beeing at the library but haven’t picked it up

I really like it. Obviously it’s Neil Gaiman’s interpretation of the original source material so some of it doesn’t exactly match what I learned in school (in Norway). But the audiobook is narrated by Neil Gaiman himself and I really like his storytelling voice. So I’m very entertained. I recommend it if you like Norse mythology and Nail Gaiman 😁
