Biannual Bibliothon TBR and reading plan

Due to my success on the read-EH-thon last week, wrap-up blog here, I thought “I can ace another one”. So I found another three… 😳 not at the same time but in a row 😆 I will do a separate blog post for each but in short, I’ll be doing the Biannual Bibliothon 14-20th July, 24in48 21-22nd July and then the 7in7 23-29th July. But let’s focus on one thing at a time 🤓📖

The Biannual Bibliothon is as the title says a biannual (twice a year) readathon, one in winter and one in summer. This is the summer version (for me at least).

The readathon has a lot of social media challenges like Instagram and youtube but also reading challenges and a group book. I will try all the reading challenges, some of the Instagram challenges and some of the blog challenges, all depending on what they are.

Readathon Facts

DATES: 14th July to 20th July

READING CHALLENGES: 7 reading challenges. You can double up but not triple.

INSTAGRAM CHALLENGES: one each day. I’ll try and do several of them, but we’ll see.

BLOG CHALLENGES: one each day. I think I’ll do some of these too, but again we’ll see when they are announced.

Of all of those there are four main reads which are explained in detail below, and three maybe’s. I won’t know which of the try a chapter challenge book I will end up reading before I try that first chapter. Should be exciting to see.

Scythe by Neal Shusterman

GoodReads: A dark, gripping and witty thriller in which the only thing humanity has control over is death.

The main TBR is just 1000pages…😱 then on top of that, there will be the try a chapter book which could be anything from 280 and 378pages…

I thought the read-EH-thon was tough with 1112pages…

This will be similar and ill be working full time… and trying to buy a house…

But a readathon is meant to be a challenge right? so I might as well give myself one 😂

What I definitely know is that I’ll start Saturday morning with Trail of Lightning. I am so incredibly absorbingly irrevocably exited for this book.

Basically, I will put this on my nightstand on Friday night and start it before I even get out of bed. Planed!
