Welcome to my WWW Wednesday post. This meme is hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.
The three W’s are
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll be reading next?
What are you currently reading?
Rising Storm by Ceri A. Lowe – originally self-published, the book was republished by Bookoutour earlier this year. Also, book 2 comes out 20th August and I have the ARC, so I better get this done
Fight Like a Girl by Clementine Ford – This is my new lunch book or was until yesterday when I got so angry reading this that I had to take a walk 2h after I finished my lunch! The anger lingered for so long I might have to change my lunch book. It is well written though and I am enjoying it even though I get quite angry.
Evna by Siri Pettersen – 24in48 readathon leftover, slowly making my way through this one, but I’ve lost a bit of the interest – only a 100 pages to go – still)
The Silk Road: A new history of the world by Peter Frankopan – I’m listening to this on audiobook at a slow and steady pace. I’m hoping to finish this sometime before Christmas lol so it will be featured a lot on my WWW posts.
What did you recently finish reading?
Fire Study by Maria V Snyder – I did it! First trilogy complete!
What do you think you’ll be reading next?
Girl In The Storm by Ceri A. Lowe – Yeah I’m delving straight into book 2 of this series. I’m quite enjoying the first one.
What are you currently reading? Any good?
Until next time 😁
I’m really curious why the one book is making you so angry. 🙂

Oh it’s a feminist manifesto and the angry bit was when the author listed recent high profile rape cases when the female victim was exploited in court and blamed for the rape. It made me very angry and frustrated. It’s generally a subject which makes me angry. But that angry part was the induction to the book and it’s now less angry and actually quite funny in places 😊

Aaaah. A perfectly just reason to be angry. There is a lot of injustice out there.

😂 I enjoyed it but it was a slow start. The last half was good and filled with action. I still think book one was the best in the series tho. You read it yet?

Nope, I haven’t 😀 I need to put a hold on it from our library again so I can finally be done with it.
But good to know that it does pick up pace at some point!

Congrats on finishing your first trilogy! These are not really my genre but I’m happy to see you you enjoyed the majority of them with only one exception! Happy reading!
