Liebster Award x2

I was nominated by the lovely Kaya over at A Fictional Bookworm and by Hannah at HannahReads. Thank you both for the nominations! I will answer both your questions in this post. I hope that’s ok.

The Liebster Award is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.

Questions from Kaya:

Dark, milk, or white chocolate?

hm… I like dark chocolate with orange or raspberries, or with something. I also like milk chocolate with fruits and nuts. But I am a sucker for plain white chocolate.

What the prettiest book you own?

My version of Persuasion by Jane Austen

Do you watch booktube? If so, who’s your favourite booktuber?

YES! My favourite is Books and Lala, her channel here.

What’s your current favourite song?

Lady Gaga – Sinners Prayer

it’s just so full to sing along too.

Pick the main characters from the last three books you read. Now do Kiss, Marry, Kill!

Last three books I read are:

  • Evna by Siri Pettersen – Main Character is Hirka
  • The Girl in The Storm by Ceri A Lowe – Main Character is Alice and Carter
  • The Rising Storm by Ceri A Lowe – Main Character is Alice and Carter

Well, I have the options between two female and one male character. Considering im asexual Im very happy one of the options is just kissing, but Ill save that for last.

To marry I will pick Hirka, mainly because I think life with her would be very fascinating, tho I might be barging in on another romance…

To Kill I think I’ll pick Alice because I think the industry would come out better without her in the beginning, obviously not at the end but we still have book 3 to wait for.

That leaves Carter to kiss… fine…

Have you ever been to BookCon or ComicCon?

No, but I would love to go to Bookcon. it soundsamazing!

If you could only eat one dessert for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Fruit salad with vanilla sauce…!

What’s your favourite piece of bookish merch that you own?

all of my mugs

What’s your least favourite cover change?

from original to movie cover.

Would you rather only read books with no romance for the rest of your life or only read books with insta-love for the rest of your life?

No romance. I prefer good friends than constant romance.

If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, which one would you choose?

A chimaera.

What do you mean they don’t exist?!

How dare you!!

Questions from Hannah

What are you reading right now and what’s your impression of it?

Currently reading Tempest and Slaughter by Tamora Pierce and Fight Like A Girl by Clementine Ford. Loving both of them 😁

What is your Hogwarts house, and do you think you should be in it, or another one?

and yes totally. This is my Home!

What is your most treasured book and why?

Most treasuered? hm.. I don’t think I have one. Don’t get me wrong I love books and I love stories but of all the ones I have, I think I could live without pretty much all of them. I have read them all so I remember them all. I could not live without new books tho.

What was your favourite book of 2017? And 2016 if you can remember that long ago!

For 2017 it was The Well of Loneliness by Radclyffe Hall. It was absolutely amazing!

For 2016 I think it was The Chimes by Anna Smaill or the Tiger’s Curse Series by Colleen Houck

If it was possible, would you store your memories and thoughts in an android before you died?

Thanks a good question. I think I would, for science. However, I think I would re-program the android to not shear this information before 500 years later. Which means my direct descendants would not be affected by this and my lift would be an interesting insight to the life of a female 500 years ago. To us, 500 years is in the middle ages and I would find that very interesting. Not that my life is interesting but it would be an interesting insight to the way of live in the past. It could be cool.

Who is your least favourite character and why?

I don’t really dislike characters in books that aren’t villains and meant to be disliked. But if I have to select a character that is not the villain in the story its probably Alex from A Clockwork Orange, he was a bit annoying a violence-loving…

If you could spend the rest of your life in any world, where would you go (but you can’t come back)?

Being unable to come back makes thing difficult. I’m tempted to chose Harry Potter because you can kind of pop back into reality whenever you want, but at the same time, you would probably not see it in the same light as you do now. Also, Harry Potter might have had a hard life but their life in general seems just a difficult as mine in this world. In many of the books I read, there is soem sort of danger wethere it is war or evil foces its not something I would like to experience.

Fine. Im going for Harry Potter. The standard answer.

Who is your favorite author?

Its possibley J K Rowling, but not just becasue of Harry Potter or the Comoran Strike series. I also love several other authors in YA and MG like Leigh Bardugo, Tamore Pierce, Nnedi Okorafor, Tomi Adayemi, I also have favourite authors in older literature like Victor Hugo, Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters.

If you could have any pet in the world, what would you have?

Already answered this in the previous selection of questions, but assuming I have to pick a new one I would pick

Could I have Kaz Brekker for a pet please?

Who is your favorite villain and why?

Im a sucker for villans I can relate to. The normal villan with only morally grey reasons for his or hers villandry. As an example, I loved the villan in Queen of the Tearling who turned out to have a perfect reason for being who she ended up being. Well done Erika Johansen!

BONUS QUESTION: Elephant-sized duck or duck-sized elephant?

totally a duck-sized elephant! I love elephants but they are a bit big. A duck-sized elephant would be the ultimate pet! Except for Kaz Brekker… 😏

This award has made if way around the bookbloggingsphere recently so Im sorry if I tag you and you have already done it. But I tag: Sophril, Brittany and Madam Mim.

No pressure!

  1. Duck-sized elephant hahaha… I want one of those… I’m the same about “baddies”, it’s just better when you’re like “huh, ok, that was bad, but I can kind of see where you’re coming from….” That’s the best kind of writing, really. And thank you for nominating me!!
