WWW Wednesday – 26th September

Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.

The three W’s are

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll be reading next?

What are you currently reading?

Deepest Blue by Mindy Tarquin – This book is very confusing and boring and I’m seriously considering giving up. At what point in the book is it acceptable to stop? I’m only 7% in. I might just put in on hold and pick it up later on.

The Caged Queen by Kristen Ciccarelli – just started this cause I got bored of the Deepest Blue. However, I wasn’t the biggest fan of book one (review here) so we’ll see how this goes…

The Silk Road: A new history of the world by Peter Frankopan – I’m listening to this on audiobook at a slow and steady pace. I’m hoping to finish this sometime before Christmas 😂 so it will be featured a lot on my WWW posts. I’ve got just under 14h left (out of 24h) and I am thoroughly enjoying it though.

What did you recently finish reading?

Considering Contemporary-a-thon has just been I have recently finished quite a few books but I’m only listing the ones I finished on Sunday. For a full readathon wrap up please see this post.

Let Her Fly; A Father’s Journey by Ziauddin Yousafzi – review to come closer to the release date. But I loved it!

Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi – graphic novel about growing up in Iran during the revolution. Very interesting read.

One Day In December by Josie Silver – Full review here.

What do you think you’ll be reading next?

Good question. Probably one of these.

The Lanterns Ember by Colleen Houck

What if its Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera

Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan

What are you currently reading? Any good?

Until next time 😁
