It’s a new year and new chances and new reading challenges…
I looked through all the reading challenges and found none of them to my liking. So I had to create my own. I named it The Ultimate Home Made Reading Challenge 2019! Epic name right? Its got 50 challenges!
I decided to create a TBR which tackles the leftovers from 2018 but also starts the reading challenge. I picked out 7 books which leaves it open for additionals at the end if I want.
Let’s dive in!
The links will take you to their GoodReads page for each book. It the book doesn’t have a GoodReads page, the link will take you to their Amazon page. They are not affiliated links.
Leftovers from 2018
Considering I only read 1 of the ARCs I planned to read in December the rest will have to go on here. And the ARCs I planned to read for January has to be pushed to February. I posted a separate blog on how I picked these which you can find here.
The Gilded King (Sovereign #1) by Josie Jaffrey – 25th June 2018 (already out, no rush)
A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer – 29th January 2019 (very interested)
Transgressive: A Trans Woman On Gender, Feminism and Politics by Rachel Anne Williams – 21st May 2019 (no rush!)
Do You Dream of Terra-Two? by Temi Oh – 7th March 2019 (no rush)
Skyward (Skyward #1) by Brandon Sanderson – 6th November 2018 (already out, very keen on)
Library Haul
This was an unexpected haul that is not necessary at all whatsoever…! but now that they are here I might as well read them.
Eve of Man by Giovanna and Tom Fletcher
Sapiens; A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari
Have you read any of these? What did you think?
What’s on your January TBR?
Good luck with your reading goals this year! I’ve been meaning to read Eve of Man for ages so I’ll be keeping an eye out for your thoughts on it 🙂
