WWW Wednesday – 9th January

First one of the year!

It’s full steam ahead!

Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. This post is a way for me to organise my reading and be in control of my TBR. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.

The three W’s are

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll be reading next?

What are you currently reading?

Skyward by Brandon Sanderson – an ARC from 2018 I didn’t get to but here we go. I’m over halfway and loving it. My favourite character is Doomslug the Destroyer 😂

A History of Magic by Ben Davis – audiobook for the moment. I do wish I had the big illustrated version of it, but for the moment this will have to do.

What did you recently finish reading?

Eve of Man by Giovanna and Tom Fletcher – loved it!

Why I No Longer Talk To White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge – listen to it on audiobook and Reni narrates it herself. Loved it!

What do you think you’ll be reading next?

Sapiens; A Bried History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

What are you currently reading? Any good?

Until next time 😁

  1. I’m super excited to get to Skyward! I also really want to read Eve of Man and Why I No Longer Want To Talk To White People About Race! Sapiens sounds really good. Hope you enjoy!

    1. I know what you mean! I’ve always wanted to read all his books but they are really long and usually in a never ending series. I started with Warbreaker which is a stand-alone fantasy. The magic system is really interesting in that book. So if this is your reason for hesitating too maybe try Warbreaker? If you enjoy YA more than adult books then yes maybe Skyward is the place to start. I hope you do end up with a Brandon Sanderson book and that you enjoy it 😊
