It’s the middle of TomeTopple people!
Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.
The three Wβs are
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think youβll be reading next?
What I’m currently reading?
A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee – TomeTopple – This is my lunch book for the two week readathon and my backup book. I just started it yesterday so I’m not 100% sure what’s going on but they are going on an adventure and Monty’s crush on Percy is quite cute π
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff – TomeTopple – I’m listening to the audiobook for this and quite enjoying it. It’s a very interesting format with interviews, IM’s, emails, blacked out documents, transcripts of surveillance videos, etc. It’s very well done on the audiobook.
The Priory of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon – TomeTopple – I’m loving this! It’s very interesting and quite a fast read in comparison to Gutten.
Gutten by Jon Kalman Stefansson – TomeTopple – A story about a boy trying to live and survive in Iceland about 100 years ago. It’s a very dense text but interesting and I am enjoying it but its slow. Maybe not the best choice for a readathon, but I wouldn’t have gotten around to it otherwise.
The A-Z of Gender and Sexualities by Morgan Potts – I’m on S and Survivor. I’m close to the end of this book, but it currently on hold due to TomeTopple π
Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari – On Hold! – I let it go now due to TomeTopple, but I’m halfway!!!
What I just finished?
City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab – A very entertaining and easy read! Middle-grade ghost story π

What I’m reading next?
I think I’ll finish what I have started first…
until next time

I’ve heard a lot of buzz surrounding The Priory of the Orange Tree – I tried to read The Bone Season but wasn’t a huge fan of it. Enjoy your readathon!!
