#SixForSunday – 5th May – 2018 Books Still Unread

This Sunday tag is created and run by Steph over at A Little But A Lot. There are some very interesting and fun prompts coming up this spring so check it out. Today s topic is 2018 Books Still Unread. I’m unsure if this referes to book I bough in 2018 or books that came out in 2018. I will go for the latter.

🥰🥰🥰

Let’s dive into the list of my 6 2018 books still unread in no particular order.

How Long ‘Til Black Future Month? by N. K. Jemisin

I love this cover! Its so incredibly cool! And yes that is totally what caught my attention about this book. Also the title, it’s a fair question to ask and it intrigued me further. I think this is a collection of short stories of speculative fiction, but I’m not sure.

Cover love! 💖

Lethal White by Robers Galbraith

I have this standing on my shelf screaming for me to read it! I HEAR YOU! I WANT YOU! I just got to read this first…

Im not sure why I haven’t gotten to it yet. But I really want to read it 🤷‍♀️

The Guilty Feminist by Deborah Frances-White

Another book on my shelf trying to catch my attention. I love Deborah Frances-White Guilty Feminist podcast (free for all). Its funny (she is a comedian) and on point. from the podcast I think my favourite part is when she and her guest(s) start a statement with “I’m a feminist but…” and admit something they are guilty about like afing for antiaging product ads, judging other women, comparing onself with others, wanting to tap that 😂 its funny and very entertaining. I’m therefore interested in the book and its waiting for me.

I highly recommend the podcast!

Tiger’s Dream by Colleen Houck

I loved the entire Tiger’s Curse series when I read it 2-3 years ago. Why I have still to read the last book is beyond me. I dont know. Maybe it has something to do with me liking the ending book 4 gave me. Maybe it something to do with the fact that I can’t seem to get in on audiobook which is how I’ve read the entire series. Who knows? Something is holding me back from reading it, but I still want to read it.

The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton

I was very exited about this book along with the rest of the book community. I pre-ordered the book and I still havent read it. Now I think I’m a bit scared to read it. I’m unsure if its overhyped or not. I still love the idea behind the story and the use of beauty as a power.

Let’s Talk About Love by Claire Kann

I love this cover too! She seems so content and happy I just want to read the book! Its so simple but give me such a good feeling. But also, as an asexual person this is a book for me. The main character is on the ace spectrum and that is very intriguing. I honestly cant understand why I havent read it. Or why I havent bought it yet. I just dont know.

Which books from 2018 have you still not read?

Have you read any of these? What did you think?

Let me know!
