I can’t believe the first week of May is already gone. Where is this month going?!? I’m lagging behind. Wait for me…!
Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.
The three W’s are
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll be reading next?
What I’m currently reading?
The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco – Asian Readathon – The first proper book from my Asian Readathon TBR. I’m almost halfway already. It’s a really quick read and I’m loving it!
Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare – The last book in the series! I started this just after TomeTopple and I’m still going. It’s a 30h audiobook! It’s going to take me some time but I’m in no rush with this. It’s enjoyable so far. It has taken some twists and turns I didn’t expect.
Gutten (The Boy) by Jon Kalman Stefansson – I managed half of this book (almost) during TomeTopple, now I’ve got the other half to get through. I like and enjoy thus book, it’s just a bit dense. It oddly philosophical in a child-logic-way if that makes sense. Its funny at times. But mostly there is description of snow, ruff sea and of storms that the boy is travelling through. It’s amazing how someone can write 300p about snow without it getting boring. Impressed. Also this is and probably always will be my favourite cover of 2019! So simple yet so beautiful.
Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari – I got it back! – I’ve gotten this back now, Reading bits and pieces. I’m over halfway and currently on the science and progress bit.
What I just finished?
The A-Z of Gender and Sexuality by Morgan Lev Edward Holleb – I’m finally finished! I really enjoyed tjis reference book. It contains everything you need. Review to come.
Monstress Vol 2 & 3 by Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda – My first read for the Asian Readathon! I love this graphic novel. I don’t have much experience with graphic novels but Monstress is one I loved instantly and wanted to continue to read. The story has good in vol 1 and 2, but in vol 3 it starts to pick up for real and I’m loving it. Also the art is f***ing fabulous!! Once by buying band/leach is over, I’m buying all of these!
What I’m reading next?
