#SixForSunday – 19th May – 2019 Books I Want To Read

This Sunday tag is created and run by Steph over at A Little But A Lot. There are some very interesting and fun prompts coming up this spring so check it out. Today s topic is 2018 Books I Want To Re-Read. I’m unsure if this refers to book I want to read that came out in 2019. I’m assuming they have to already be out. I have a lot more than 6 books, but I managed to select only 6 for this post.

🥰🥰🥰

Let’s dive into the list of my 6 2019 books I want to read in no particular order.

Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James

This sounds really interesting. I’m not 100% sure what it is about, but I know it’s fantasy or speculative fiction of some degree. I’m in 😁

Ragged Alice by Gareth L. Powell

A crime book where the detective has a peculiar talent. I think its something about seeing people souls! Exited! I haven’t got my hands on a copy but I will at some point.

This made its way on to my most anticipated under-hyped releases for 2019.

The Test by Sylvain Neuvel

A British citizen test does the extreme and every questions becomes a question of life or death. Its speculative fiction and I really want to read it. This also made it to my most anticipated under-hyped reads for 2019 and I still havent read it!?!

Never Die by Rob J. Hayes

A band of misfits, dead misfits, seek reenge against someone. Im not sure whats heppening in this book but i love the “band of misfits” and the “already dead” parts. I also love the cover and the trope of underdog raising their swords against the power.

I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver

I first heard about this during my research for upcoming books by non-binary authors. This was the only one I could find at the time and its now out 😁 I really want to read it

The Tiger At Midnight by Swati Teerdhala

I don’t know much about this but it is fantasy about an assassin… yup that’s it. I want this now please!

Which books from 2018 have you still not read?

Have you read any of these? What did you think?

Let me know!
