My optional TBR
I have not decided which route to take but I have put together a TBR for two of them
1st possibility is Option 1: New Beijing > Shoel 1 > Kalyazin > Hogwarts. Which in challenges term is to read a Sci-Fi > Dystopian > book with Blood or Red cover > Magic School.
2nd possibility is Option 4: The Ice Court > Fennbirn > Cabeswater > Hogwarts which is Criminals > Multiple POV > involves a King > Magic School
Option 1 TBR

New Beijing (Sci-Fi)
Across The Void by S. K. Vaughn
Pages: 368p
I have had this ARC on my shelf for a while and it sounds very interesting. I’m quite into British space book and this fit that bill π It’s an adult space thriller!
Shoel 1 (Dystopian)
Raging Star (Dust Lands #3) by Moira Young
Pages: 432p
Dystopian Canadian series. I loved the first two books in this series and I’m quite exited about the final instalment. I have this book on audio which I think will be better since it’s written completely in a spoken-type language.
Kalyzin (Blood/Red cover)
David Mogo: Godhunter by Suyi Davies Okungbowa
Pages: 386p
Red cover book. This is another one of my ARCs. I have heard mixed reviews of this book. The premise makes it sound like a fun adventure which reminds me a bit of Nicky Drayden and her stories. Obviously it won’t be the same, but fingers crossed π€
Hogwarts (Magic School)
Air Awakens by Elise Kova
Pages: 342p
This book takes place in a magic school or library, Iβm not entirely sure but it was a recommended book by the host for this challenge so Iβm guessing it fits π. I bought the entire series when it was on offer last year and I love the cover to these books. I might finally get to them π
Option 2 TBR

The Ice Court (Criminals)
Nocturna (A Forgery of Magic #1) by Maja Motayne
Pages: 480p
Another ARC on my list. It follows a thief and a prince in multiple POVs on a journey. So this book could also go for the next two challenges.
I’ve heard some good things about this book and I really hope it lives up to the hype…
Fennbirn (Multiple POV)
Across the Void by S. K. Vaughn
Pages: 368p
Same as above, British space book that sounds interesting.
I have other option for this challenge but Across The Void has to be read and is split into two narration; one in space and one on Earth.
Cabeswater (Involves a King)
Kingdom of Copper (The Daevabad Trilogy #2) by S. A. Chakraborty
Pages: 640p
I have an ARC of this book but I still haven’t gotten to, and it came out in January! It’s really bad. But I promise I really do want to read it! I loved the first book and I’ve been very exited about the sequel. But for some reason I have still to pick it up.
Technically, the main character is a criminal or was a criminal and this book has multiple POVs. So again this book could be for any or the first three challenges.
Itβs also quite a long book and I donβt think Iβll finish this or make it to the next book. Weβll see.
Hogwarts (Magic School)
Air Awakens by Elise Kova
Pages: 342p
Same as above. Set in a magical school/library. Iβve had my eyes one this book for a while and that cover is amazing!
I think I’m leaning more towards option 2 What do you think?
Also there is a companion quiz you can take and I got Team Pegasus! π

Anyone else participating in this readathon?

I ended up taking the second option which starts with criminals -> multiple POV -> involves a King. Iβve already read Nocturna for the first option. And Iβm now 14% into Across the Void. Steady steam ahead π thanks!
