The final Bibliathon is this month!
I’m taking it easy in the beginning of this month and only read a few thing I want o read. Then the Biannual Bibliathon starts on the 11th which I’m really exited for! I loved it last year and I can’t believe this is the final one #sad. I have yet to make the TBR for that one and will post that separably. I’m also getting a lot of visitors this month and there is Bristol Pride on the 13th.
So a lot is happening this month. I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to read and what I want to read but the selection below is an idea of what is available to me atm.
If you visit my blog often you might have seen all of these here before…
The links will take you to their GoodReads page for each book. If the book doesn’t have a GoodReads page, the link will take you to their Amazon page. They are not affiliated links.
Library books due soon
If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo – I borrowed this for the Buzzwordathon back in June and I read the first 62 pages, but I miscalculated thetiming for the readathon. Those 62 pages I read on th elast day thiking I had another day. But no. So I still have this book laying around. I really liked those first 62 pages and I want to continue. I’ll probably re-read those 62 pages first. But I think I’ll definitely read this for the first half of July at least.
A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Grey – Again another library borrow for Buzzwordathon. I didn’t even get around to picking it up. It sounds really good and looks amazing! I hope to get to this in July.
Books I would like to finish but no pressure
Gutten (The Boy) by Jon Kalman Stefansson – The boy is still walking though snow and snowstorms, barely making it out in one piece. I hope I can make some progress on this fascination but slow book this month.
Sapiens; A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari – I got it back! And I have time today into it a bit more now before Bibliathon starts. I’m on 72% and I hope to reach at least high 80’s or low 90′ by the end of the month 🤞🤞
ARCs overdue that I might read
David Mogo, Godhunter by Suyi Davies Okungbowa – Nigerian fantasy with (I think) god hunting because gods are bad(?). This is another book that made it on to my my most anticipated underhypder releases of 2019. I haven’t seen many good reviews for this book though, so I’m a bit sceptical.
Kingdom of Copper by S. A. Chakraborty – I wanted to read this for Fantasy JourneyAThon but didn’t get to it. I loved the first book in the series, The City of Brass. It took me by surprise and I got thoroughly sucked in. I’ve heard some really good stuff about this book as well and I hope to get to it asap!
Have you read any of these? What did you think?
What’s on your TBR this month?
Happy reading!

Ooh I was planning to participate as well, but totally forgot haha, thanks for the reminder! I hope you get to all of them!
