September TBR and reading plan ’19

I have no plans for this month and I really needs to get these ARC out… It will be an ARC madness month

Last month was quick! It flew by and I’m not sure were it went.

For September, I have no plans. I hope to get my bathroom done or started on. but that means I will need to finish the design and make my mind up on tiles and stuff which could affect my reading time.

The links will take you to their GoodReads page for each book. If the book doesn’t have a GoodReads page, the link will take you to their Amazon page. They are not affiliated links.

Need to Finish

Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James – I’m way over half way though this and loving it. It so different and colourful and so queer.

ARCs that needs to be read

The Dragon Republic (The Poppy War #2) by R. F. Kuang – I. AM. SO. EXITED. FOR. THIS. BOOK. I think it will be my first read in September.

Angel Mage by Garth Nix – I loved Keys to the Kingdom series by Garth Nix, both the imagination and the writing. I haven’t read anything by him since. I hope this will be good.

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson – I have seen this book around . I don’t know much about it apart form it’s YA fantay, set in a library and contains badass women, which is sometimes all I need πŸ™‚

The Deathless by Peter Newman – I loved Peter Newman’s first book The Vagrant about a mute main character who caries a baby and a special sword across a dystopian world. It was so special and I loved it. I’ve seen Deathless around for a while as it came out last year. But when both Deathless and Ruthless (#2) popped up on NetGalley I pressed that request button and here I am…

The Ruthless (Deathless #2) by Peter Newman – Yes I did it again, requesting book 2 in a series when I haven’t read the first one. BUT! Big fricken But! I enjoyed Peter Newman’s previous book, so why shouldn’t I like this one. Right?!

Ultimate Reading Challenge books

Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami – As a part of my Reading Challenge this year, I’m supposed to read a best seller for the year I was born. Turns out Norwegian Wood was one of them. I have requested it on audiobook for the library and it states it will be available for the 18th September.

Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell – I don’t plan to finish this book in September, I might manage it by Christmas but I need to start it. Its over 1000 pages and goes for the prompt of a 800+ page classic. I try to read at least one long classic every year. Last year it was Anna Karenina and the year before it was Les Miserable. This year its Gone With The Wind. I wonder what next year will bring.

Have you read any of these? What did you think?

What’s on your TBR this month?

Happy reading!
