What I’m currently reading?
The Deathless (Deathless #1) by Peter Newman – Just started this and it’s really easy to read. I do really like Peter Newman’s writing style and world building, but I’m not sure about the story yet. I’m 13% in and if I want to read all my ARC’s this month I will have to finish it this weekend…
Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell – I’ve started this monster! It’s over 1000 pages. I hope to finish before Christmas… Progress so far: started on 2nd September, 4th Sep on 3% (iBook page 118/4503).
What I just finished?
Black Leopard, Red Wolf (The Dark Star Trilogy #1) by Marlon James – This so really special and good and bloody and epic and so well done, so detailed, and so rich in culture and mythology! I gave it 4.25 ivy leaves 🙂
What I’m reading next?
I’m continuing Gone With the Wind until the unforeseeable future, but aside from that I have a very long TBR for this month. I think the next book will potentially be The Ruthless by Peter Newman with is the next in the series after The Deathless which I’m currently reading. Though I’m debating whether I should participate in Sapphire 24h readathon on the 7th September (Twitter handle @ SapphicSaturday) considering I have Girls of Storm and Shadow to read. The readathon focuses on reading books with f/f romances in and Girls of Storm and Shadow has a f/f romance element in it. And it’s only a 24 hour readathon. But it would not help with the TBR as it’s not on my TBR…

Well so far it’s surprisingly easy to read, and relatively quick. but you will have to wait until christmas I think before I finish it. LOL

Gone With The Wind is one of those books that I see everywhere and that I have gotten recommended a lot, yet I know nothing about it. How are you enjoying it so far? 🙂

Maybe you should watch the 4h long Oscar winning movie first and see if you like it. It’s an epic civil war America romance basically. I watched the movie years ago and don’t remember much. But the book is surprisingly easy to read. I’m positively surprised. But then I’m just 3% in so we’ll see how the rest is.

Yeah, I should probably watch the movie first. Somehow I forgot that there was a movie for it…I have no idea what’s going on in my brain sometimes!

😂 we all have our moments. And if I hadn’t been made to watching when I was younger I probably wouldn’t think of it either.
