Its been a while since I got tagged to do a tag, and a while since I’ve done a tag. This seems like a good one to do π
I was tagged by the amazing and kind Michaela over at Journey Into Books. Thank you!
I could probably put Trail of Lightning in all of these boxes but I have constrained myself to make it more interest to you the reader lol.
Rules
- Thank the person who tagged you and link back to their post
- Link to the creatorβs blog (thebookwormdreamer) in your post
- Answer the prompts below β all fantasy books!
- Tag 5 others to take part
- Enjoy!
5 star book
There are a lot of options for this, but my all time favourite is Six of Crows duology. Trail of Lightning would also fit here along with many others.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Always going to recommend
Yes I alwasy recommend Trail of Lightning, but there are other books and series I recommend too like Uprooted and A Darker Shade of Magic.

Trail of Lightning (Sixth World #1) by Rebecca Roanhorse
Own it but havenβt read it
I have so many fantasy book I haven’t read but own. these are just a selection. I also have Nevernight on my shelf and The Bone Season.

The Tiger’s Daughter by K Arsenault Rivera – I’m saving this for the nest TomeTopple
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
Vicious by V. E. Schwab
Would read again
I don’t often re-read books, but The Marrow Thieves is one I probably would sometime int he future. It’s a standalone, shot dystopian urban fantasy by a Native American author. Very well-written and built up. It was a 5 start from me and I’ll happily re-read it π

The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline
In another world
Again there are several of my favourite fantasy books that takes place in a different world, but right now I have the Cruel Prince series on my mind. Which has probably something to do with the last instalment arriving soon π #nervous

The Wicked King (Folk of The Air #2)by Holly Black
Back on Earth
Yes I got it in again lol! Second in the series and futuristic but definitely on Earth.

Storm of Locusts (Sixth World #2) by Rebecca Roanhorse
