WWW Wednesday – 6th November ’19

It’s NaNo time but I did some reading too

Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.

I’ll make a NaNo progress report on Friday but I reached 7k this morning which mean I’m a bit behind schedule but that’s OK for now. I’ll catch up over the weekend like I always do (I hope).

The three W’s are
  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll be reading next?

What I’m currently reading?

Educated by Tara Westover – Just started this on audiobook. This is this quarter’s book club book at the office. So far its ok. I’m not sure what to make of it yet. I think I’ve gone into this book with a slightly negative view and I don’t know how that will affect my opinion.

Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell – It’s a surprisingly easy and entertaining read. But it’s over 1000 pages so I hope to finish before Christmas… Progress so far: started on 2nd September, 4th Sep on 3% (iBook page 118/4503), 11th September on 5% (iBook page 243/4503), 18th September on 14% (iBook page 614/4503) – Well, hello Rhett…!. 25th September on 16% (iBook page 718/4503), 9th October on 27% (iBook page 1226/4503) – the long gazes #swoon, 16th October on 30% (iBook page 1350/4503), 23rd October 32% (iBook page 1476/4503) – Mistress!? how rude, 30th October – No progress – 32% (iBook page 1476/4503), 6th November – 36% (iBook page 1635/4503).

What I just finished?

Magnus Chase: Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan – I’m very pleased with the ending to this series. It was well done. I still love Magnus Chase as a character and the setting of the book. It was quite a journey.

What I’m reading next?

No clue yet. Probably another audiobook.

until next time
