WWW Wednesday – 20th November ’19

My first cold of the season has set in…

Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.

I’ll make a NaNo progress report on Friday but I reached 26k yesterday which mean I’m still behind schedule (atm about 6k behind). We’ll see how this goes.

The three W’s are
  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll be reading next?

What I’m currently reading?

Naturally Tan by Tan France – I love Queer Eye and especially Tan. I planned to get his book asap, but then I discovered he narrated his own audiobook and brought that instead. I have not had the time to read it until now. I also saved all the non-fiction books for November due to NaNo and here we are. I only have 45min left and loved it.

Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell – It’s a surprisingly easy and entertaining read. But it’s over 1000 pages so I hope to finish before Christmas… Progress so far: started on 2nd September, 4th Sep on 3% (iBook page 118/4503), 11th September on 5% (iBook page 243/4503), 18th September on 14% (iBook page 614/4503) – Well, hello Rhett…!. 25th September on 16% (iBook page 718/4503), 9th October on 27% (iBook page 1226/4503) – the long gazes #swoon, 16th October on 30% (iBook page 1350/4503), 23rd October 32% (iBook page 1476/4503) – Mistress!? how rude, 30th October – No progress – 32% (iBook page 1476/4503), 6th November – 36% (iBook page 1635/4503), 20th November – 39% (1752/4503).

What I just finished?

Over The Top by Jonathan Van Ness – As I said above, I love Queer Eye. JVN is my second favourite of the group and he is such a precious baby. This book was heartbreaking with JVN’s telling of his own story and ll the trouble he got in. But this book is also heartwarming when you find out how far he has come. I love him!

What I’m reading next?

No clue yet. Probably another audiobook. Maybe Becoming by Michelle Obama.

until next time

  1. When you say your first cold has set in does that mean the weather is finally cold or you are sick? I hope you aren’t sick, but if you are feel better! Good luck with your reading! Its nice to hear that Gone with the Wind isn’t a heard read. Because of its size I kind of just assumed the reading would be hard haha

    1. Sick! Yup still sniffling away here. the weather here in the uk is alwasy cold so thats nothing new 😂 it appears to be a fast actin cold though so im getting through the montion pretty eficiently, i like my body that way. “We need to have a cold? ok but make it quick, we have other things to do. just used the pre-packaged deal for the cold system” 😂

yeah I assumed it would ba hard too, not just because it was bis but old. A lot of older books have different way of writing or useing differnt words and stuff, but no. Its intereting plot and easy language. I can almost recommend it, but not yet, i need to finish it frirst just in case.
