Last year, I made two posts about my most anticipated books of 2019. This post I’ll go through them to check if I read them or not 😁
This part 2 of 2 post I made featured Underhyped books. The first post was all about the books I saw creping up on my feed or I heard people talking about within the book community. This second post is about all the other books I hadn’t seen much publicity for.
So let’s dive into my old list of 2019 releases and see if I read them or not 😁
The Deep by Rivers Solomon
Published: 5th November 2019
Read? No. I tried to pre-order it but Waterstones had cencelled it before its release so I’m yet to get a copy. I will read this whenever I get to it.
Woven in Moonlight by Isabel Ibanez
Published: delayed for 7th January 2020
Read? Obviously not, but I will 😏
The Test by Sylvian Neuvel
Published: 12th February 2019
Read? Nope. I never got to it. I have also not seen it in shops, but it got some good reviews so I will read it at some point.
Dragon Pearl by Yoon Ha Lee
Published: 11th June 2019
Read? No. For some reason I completely forgot about this book until now. There was a lot of dragons published this year and this just left my brain. I’m in no rush the read it, but if I see it in the library I might pick it up 😊
Never Die by Rob J Hayes
Published: 29th January 2019
Read? Nope. I know this is a list of under hyped books, but I have yet to see this anywhere. I’m not sure I’m still interested but if it crosses my path I’ll check it out.
The Gutter Prayers by Gareth Hanrahan

Reverie by Ryan La Sala

David Mogo, Godhunter by Suyi Davies Okungbowa
Published: 9th July 2019
Read? Yes and did a full review. It was an entertaining and fun read, but didn’t blow my mind.
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
Published: 3rd Spetember 2019
Read? No. This book has gotten very mixed review and I’m torn wether to read or not to read…
Out of 12 books I read 3… that’s low and poor attendance by me, but oh well. One has been delayed for next year and will again feature my list for 2020. One I tried to get but it wasn’t sold in the UK apparently… Lastly I have one waiting for me. and that’s it. 6 books I have no excuse for..
Did you read any of these? Did you like it?
