I’m finally getting some reading done!
Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.
The three W’s are
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll be reading next?
What I’m currently reading?
The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff – I’ve finally gotten around to starting this one. Its super easy to read and very interesting.
Jordmor pa Jorda by Edvid Hoem – This is a slow read but very interesting. The language is tricky and I struggle a bit. It takes time for me to get into the language so I can’t just sit down and read for 5 min I need 30 min to and hour at least. Its based on the authors great-great-grandmother and her life. Knowing its based on real life makes it more interesting.
What I just finished?
Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi – Oh frustrating and dramatic. I know I don’t like the miscommunication trope but sometimes I can live through it, I suffered reading this. I did not like the ending either. I’m still curious to where the final book leads and how this whole story ends. But I see.
Ragged Alice by Gareth Powell – This was a very interesting paranormal crime novel set in Wales. The sci-fi element slowly creeps up on you ad finished in a paranormal high 🙂 A lot of fun to read! I would definitely like a sequel.
What I’m reading next?
According to my TBR I have only one more book to read this month. But will I get that far?
Next month if Faebruary readathon and I want to have a fresh start though I doubt I will manage to finish Jordmor Pa Jorda – that will take a long time. Whatever I start on now will be short enough to be finished by the 31st January.
until next time

Enjoy your reading! I also wasn’t really a fan of children of virtue and vengeance 🙈
