WWW Wednesday – 17th June 2020

June has been a good month so far.

Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.

The three Wโ€™s are
  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think youโ€™ll be reading next?

The Court of Miracles by Kester Grant – Just dived into this straight after finishing Empire of Gold so this book has a lot to live up to…

The Left Hand of Darkness (Hainish Cycle #4) by Ursula K. LeGuin – Still struggling through this, but I’m starting to get my head around it and almost enjoying it.

Jordmor pa Jorda by Edvind Hoem – 34% in. No progress …

The Empire of Gold (The City of Brass #3) by S. A. Chakraborty – oh Wow! I love this ending! If you are one of those nervous reader who don’t want this series to end, then this will be soothing ๐Ÿ™‚ I had minor issues because it’s the end and I don’t want it to end so I picked some flaws, but over all I love this. To me, this was the perfect ending though a little bit sad. Review to come.

The Switch by Beth O’Leary – Not as good as The Flatshare but still cute and feel-good. There is something about Beth O’Leary’s books that creates a whole universe of characters. Most feel-good book have a limited cast but not Beth O’Leary’s books. There is a whole family and village involved and it’s not confusing who’s who.

According to my June TBR I have plenty to read. But I want to finish what I’ve already started then maybe jump into another audiobook or something ๐Ÿ™‚

until next time
