WWW Wednesday – 29th July 2020

I can’t believe July is almost over…

Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.

The three W’s are
  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll be reading next?

The Freelance Bible by Alison Grade – Yeah. So I started doing my own thing whilst having a full time job and after reading Lean In last week, I felt I needed more. I got this from the library and so far I’ve gotten a few tips about time management etc.

Seven Devils by Laura Lam & Elizabeth May – This is one of my most anticipated read of the year and I have an ARC and it comes out next week and I’m loving it so far and the writing is so good and its just amazing! lol

Who Fears Death? by Nnedi Okorafor – Slowly making my way through the end of this book. I have about 150 pages left. Its a really good book but its a bit heavy hence the slowness. i also think since I was heaving a reading slump while reading this, I’m a bit reluctant to read it again, so I do it in portions. Its not the book, its me. I love the magic in here and how it works on several levels.

I finished all of these over the weekend as part of the Reading Rush. I also published my wrap up here if you want more information, but in short I enjoyed them all, but I loved The Gilded Wolves. However, I won’t pick up the next instalment (September 2020) before the last one comes out in 2021 sometime. I don’t think I could handle it. I feel a new obsession coming on.

I have plenty to get on with on my July TBR. But July is almost over. My August TBR will be out on the 1st as always but I already know my next read will be Death By the Nile as it is the bookclub book for August at work.

until next time
