WWW Wednesday – 9th December 2020

It’s weird to be reading again and not writing…

Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.

The three W’s are
  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll be reading next?

Darius the Great Deserves Better (Darius the Great #2) by Adib Khorram – The sequel to Darius the Great is Not OK. I loved the first book which was filled with tea, family and friendships, and some “stress hormones”. The second is just as good. It’s got the tea, it’s got the friendships, it’s got the family, but so far no “stress hormones”. It has such a good vibe it makes my cold heart swell.

The Burning God (Poppy War #3) by R. F. Kuang – the last book in the Poppy War series and I can already feel the pain. Poor Rin she really has suffered.

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas – Started this during TomeTopple in August. It’s 52 hours long and by the end of the readathon I had 38 hour left. I had 28 hours left for 2-3 months, but I made serious progress in October so then I had have 22 hour left. So far in November I’ve made massive progress and only have 12h left! So close to finishing, and I can feel the story amping up. But no progress since then so I still have 12h left. I need to finish before the holidays.

Vicious (Villains #1) by V E Schwab – I finally finished vicious. It was really good! Definitely picking up the sequel sometime. I love the grey morality of it all, but in the end I’m a team Victor 🙂 Also I did not see that ending coming which was a plus 🙂

December TBR have a few more books left on it but I have already started to mood read so will probably continue with that.

until next time
