Only half a month left of 2020!
Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.
The three W’s are
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll be reading next?
The Burning God (Poppy War #3) by R. F. Kuang – the last book in the Poppy War series and I can already feel the pain. Poor Rin she really has suffered. I haven’t managed a lot of this book. I’ve been too busy painting the staircase at home. I’m only 24% in. Its going to take a while to finish I think, but I feel like I have gotten into it now.
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas – Started this during TomeTopple in August. It’s 52 hours long and by the end of the readathon I had 38 hour left. I had 28 hours left for 2-3 months, but I made serious progress in October so then I had have 22 hour left. In November I’ve made massive progress and only had 12h left! So close to finishing, and I can feel the story amping up. I did manage another 2 hours last night while painting the staircase. that leaves 10h left 🙂
Darius the Great Deserves Better (Darius the Great #2) by Adib Khorram – The sequel to Darius the Great is Not OK. I loved the first book which was filled with tea, family and friendships, and some “stress hormones”. The second is just as good. Again the amount of tea is amazing! I loved the feel-good vibe of the entire book! So lovable!!
December TBR have a few more books left on it but I have already started to mood read so will probably continue with that.
until next time
