WWW Wednesday – 30th December 2020

The final one of 2020…!

Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.

The three W’s are
  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll be reading next?

Rhapsodic (The Bargainer #1) by Laura Thalassa – This was on my radar as a recommendation by Becca and the Books on YouTube. It’s an urban fantasy romance and I believe it’s self-published which I’m always cautious but curious about. I started this the other day and I’m loving it! There was no need for me to be cautious, it’s really well written and I love the informal writing style. It’s very addictive, like “it’s 3am?!? how did that happen”-type addictive… I love the fantasy elements and the world too (ours but with supernatural beings). Maybe I should do a full review when I finish?

Fable (Fable #1) by Adrienne Young – I though I get a head start on my ARCs for next year and Fable is due out on the 26th January here in the UK. I smashed through 70% of the book yesterday and I plan to finish it today. I love her writing style, the details and the richness in it.

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas – Started this during TomeTopple in August. It was 52 hours long. But step by step I managed to finish. It was a struggle at times but I did it! Did I like it? It was ok…

A Dream of Ice (The Earthend Saga #2) by Gillian Anderson and Jeff Rovin – The second book was fun. Not as good as the first book I think but still worth the read. I hope to finish the series in 2021.

Well, 2020 is officially ending tomorrow and my January TBR hasn’t even been selected so I have no clue what’s next. You’ll have to wait and see 🙂

until next time
