January TBR and reading plan 2021

New Year, New Chances, New Books

2020 was weird. Let’s hope 2021 is better. But I’m keeping to myself until I see some evidence that’s getting better.

Same as last year, I’m trying to reduce my physical and e-book shelves so I need to read one of each. I have yet to sort out my life and head to pick anything. Maybe I’ll mood read for January as well πŸ€” But I do know which library books are becoming available for me this month πŸ˜€

I love a fresh start πŸ₯°

Let’s dive in!

The links will take you to their GoodReads page for each book. If the book doesn’t have a GoodReads page, the link will take you to their Amazon page. They are not affiliated links.

Starsight (Skyward #2) by Brandon Sanderson – I borrowed this from a friend in July and haven’t gotten to it so January TBR it is.

Black Sun (Between Earth and Sky #1) Rebecca Roanhorse – I don’t have words to describe how excited I am about this book and this new series! Due out 21st January 2021 in the UK.

The Decent of Man by Greyson Perry – Greyson Perry is an icon. A weird icon but he has some interesting thoughts and I would like to heard his thoughts on the idea of man and masculinity.

The Eve Illusion (Eve of Man #2) by Giovanna & Tom Fletcher – the sequel to Eve of Man which I read last January. I’m interested to see how Eve will play her role as the only fertile women alive.

Riot Baby by Tochi Onyebuchi – a recommendation book that I don’t know much about. But after watching the author speak about writing during Yall Write I requested it.

Have you read any of these? What did you think?

What’s on your January TBR?

Happy reading!
