It’s QueerLit week!! 🌈
Welcome to my WWW Wednesday meme post, originally hosted by Taking in a World of Words. All I need to do is answer the three questions below which all start with a W.
The three W’s are
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll be reading next?
Picture Us In The Light by Kelly Loy Gilbert – QueerLit Read – I’m halfway through this audiobook and I’m really enjoying it. its a contemporary YA novel focusing on immigration, art and friendship.
The Jasmine Throne (Burning Kingdoms #1) by Tasha Suri – QueerLit Read – Only 20% in and I’m hooked. It has strong women but also interesting men and some assholes. Also I’m enjoying the revenge plot.
Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl by Andrea Lawlor – QueerLit Read – This is such a weird ride but I like it. Yes its really smutty and the first half is almost just Pauls experiments in gender and sex. But then it become more of a journey to self-discovery. There are so many small snips of discussion about art, music and queerness which is great.
The Wolf & The Woodsman by Ava Reid – I managed to get halfway before QueerLit and thats were I still am… it’s on hold atm.
Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir – I’m on page 323 and loving it. It’s finally coming out of the fog that is the first half 😂 but its on hold now for QueerLit even though it’s queer.
Heartstopper Volume 4 by Alice Oseman – QueerLit Read – I love Nick and Charlie so no surprice I loved this volume too. I’ super excited for volume 5 at some point in the future but also for Nick & Charlie the novella which is a part of the Solitaire series.
Maurice by E M Forster – QueerLit Read – I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. And how much I loved the ending. It was so much more that I expected.
until next time
